About Us
When Camilo Vidal, Co-founder and Managing Director, voluntarily exited Schneider Electric after over 21 years, he clearly understood that many global manufacturers and brands do not have presence in LATAM in a market that is in desperate need for different options in DC infrastructure solutions. Camilo teamed up with his sister, Maria Consuelo, who has been in the IT business for over 20 years in Colombia. The combination of Camilo’s attributes in solution selling and Data Center infrastructure technical knowledge along with Maria’s exprience in IT distribution, logistics, and marketing are a perfect match to introduce, market, evangelize, and sell new mission critical infrastructure solutions in the region.
VIP since its beginning has focused primarily in Andean Countries and Central America. VIP has now directed special attention to Mexico, Chile and Argentina while investing in headcount and recruiting top DC Integrators.
