  • Mounting Area System: Three mounting types — Bay mounting (multiple devices sharing space), Slot mounting (exclusive single-device), and Physical space placement

  • Template from Anything: Create a template from a single device, a fully populated rack, or an entire room layout — including all nested components and their configurations
  • Version Control: Templates are versioned — each change creates a new version, and the system tracks which instances are running which version
  • Update All: When you update a template, choose "Update All" to propagate changes to every instance across your estate simultaneously
  • Detach Instances: Individual instances that have been customised can be detached from the template — they keep their current configuration but stop receiving updates
  • Wizard-Based Instantiation: A step-by-step wizard guides users through creating new instances from a template, with per-component parameter customisation
  • Dynamic Conditional Fields: The wizard adapts its fields based on component type — location templates show dimension fields, device templates show placement options
